How do i get my bluetooth headset for ps3 to work?

I have a bluetooth headset made for ps3 but it won’t work. it works on the charger stand but when i take it off it won’t even turn on. it says its connected on the stand, i turn on the power and theres a red and green light but when i take it off it won’t work. It wont turn on or anything. wats the problem?
i have considered the battery not charged because it does work.just not off of the charger.

Go to settings>then go to accesory settings>headset. got o configure(while configuring turn headset on). it will show ur headset on the ps3 screen(it shows the name) then you have to enteer the passcode
