Car Bluetooth Kit

Splicing Parrot bluetooth kit into amplifier?
I have the CK3100 (bluetooth car kit) and I am wondering, if anyone knows, how to splice it into my amp. I have an Alpine PDX-5 and I would like to have the bluetooth intercept my speakers for calls.
okay that makes sense, but would that mean though I would have to run additional speaker wire from the front speaker wires (from the harness) and tap into the new speaker wires from the amp to the front speakers?
You’ll need to tap into the remote lead, and have the amp turn off during calls, and then you simply wire the parrot system into the speaker wires running to the front pair of speakers. This is the easiest way to do it, but the problem is that your CD or Ipod will keep playing while you are in the call, so you’ll lose your place. Plus, if you had it up loud before the call, it will come back on blarring.
The better way to go about it, is to acutally use the mute cable on the stereo (if it has one), this will lower the volume for you, and on some stereos, will stop the music competely. If your stereo doesn’t have one, wire it into the ACC. cable, and the whole stereo will turn off during calls.
**Remember, you use the volume on the parrot system, not the deck during calls.**
