Is it possible to answer your home phone on your home computer?

Hi everyone! My question is very simple I have a Bluetooth headset with microphone connected to my home computer desktop,
and I’m trying to find out if it’s possible to connect my home phone to my computer to answer and send out calls…
but I don’t want any software or devices that will give me free calling and a new number I just want my home phone to work on my computer…

It can be done.
But, there are two requirements to enable this:

1. You must have a Voice Modem installed in your PC. (not a data modem)
