Can you use a Bluetooth keyboard before Windows boots?

There are so many types of wireless keyboard/mouse combos out there… RF, IR, Bluetooth… This question is specifically about Bluetooth ones. Like these:

If it’s a combo that comes with its own receiver, than the receiver is probably designed to emulate a keyboard in BIOS mode. It probably will work.

I’d be more doubtful about just any bluetooth keyboard in just any bluetooth receiver.
