Is $60 a good deal for a NOKIA BH-800 BLUETOOTH Headset? New in box (friend owns a store)?

Im asking cause Ive never owned a bluetooth headset before and dont know whats good what isnt

while I wouldn’t dismiss more higher end (and thus more expensive) BT headsets, I would try out cheaper ones first. Online and retailers will have ‘em for cheap. As low as $10 while not exceeding $35.

Check with places like Best Buy, Staples, Radio Shack, Target, and Walmart to see if they have any sales going on.

For Online, check the same brick and mortar stores above, as sometimes they’ll have online only discounts. Else, I check on “one item a day” discount sites like Woot or IHaveToHaveThat.com. When they have BT headsets available, I snag them up for a sizeable cost below MSRP. Just pay attention to whether if they’re now or not. When buying refurbished BT headsets, it’s possible you may be getting someone’s earwax. Be sure to clean it before using it.

Otherwise, i hear most ppl return BT headsets b/c they can’t get it to work b/c it’s too complicated FOR THEM, or they don’t bother reading the instructions which explains step by step how to pair it with a cellphone or other compatible device. It’s NOT difficult really, but u may need to look up passcodes for the headsets, as well as how to turn it on.

Finally, if u do get a more expensive BT headset, these are some features u MAY get over cheaper ones…..
-better quality
-better volume
-better battery life
-better fit on your ear (kinda subjective)
-smaller profile (good for ppl who wear glasses)
-maybe designer faceplates
-phone features on the
my BT headsets both do voice dialing, answer, end call, and volume. Others may also offer features such as redialing and mute among others.

MSRP is $180! The item sells for all around for about $90 at this time, altho one Amazon seller/entry has it new for $55. However, after shipping it’ll likely cost more than $60 of what your friend is offering. I believe all the diff prices u see here is just the same item being sold by diff sellers at diff price points. Your friend seems to be offering a good deal, altho you still may wanna see if a cheaper BT headset would work just as fine
