Playstation Bluetooth Microphone

Webcam compatible with a Playstation 3 as a microphone/headset?

I play Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 a lot on my Playstation 3, and a lot of my friends have headsets so they can talk to each other in the game. I want to know if I can use a webcam(that has a microphone) instead of buying a Bluetooth headset. The webcam plugs-into a USB port, which the Playstation 3 has.
If you don’t think I can do this, could you please tell me how much Bluetooth headsets or mics run? The Ps3 is compatible with any Bluetooth device.
