The latest Micromax Mobile, the new Micromax Q6  has some great specifications that include a Slider Style form factor which is a Dual GSM band operating at 900/1800 MHz. Its dimensions are 112.5 mm x 51 mm x 15.35 mm and it weighs in only at about 130g. it has a 6 Cms TFT QVGA Screen with a resolution of 320 x 240 Pixels with also a Full QWERTY keypad. It has a 2.0 Mega Pixel camera. This phone features a Multi Format Music Player with supported formats being MP3 , AMR , MIDI and WAV. It also features a 3.5mm Audio Jack which makes music listening very convenient for most users. It also supports Background Music Playback which is powered by a Yamaha Amplifier.

For social networking it comes pre installed with the facebook application and for web browsing it features a opera mini browser. To stay in touch with all your friends it also comes with a Multi-Messenger application called Nimbuzz pre installed in it.

The Bluetooth transmitter in this phone is A2DP that means it can stream stereo music wirelessly t other Bluetooth audio players like Bluetooth speakers or Bluetooth headsets. this phone supports data networks that include EDG / GPRS / WAP and MMS. This phone also has Expandable Memory of up to 8GB using a MicroSD card.

It comes with a 950mAh lithium ion battery that provides a Talk Time of Up to 7 hours and a Standby Time of Up to 9 Days. The form factor of this phone is much like the Micromax Q7 which has been a very successful micromax mobile phone in the Indian market.

Some of the normal connectivity and data transfer capabilities that are included in the Micromax Q7 include Bluetooth with A2DP support. This is a Java enabled phone which is also GPRS, WAP, and MMS enabled. The new Micromax Q7 comes with an in built memory of 78 MB which can store up to a 1000 entries in the phone book and as well as about 1000 SMS messages.
