Rocketfish Ps3 headset help?

So i was playing little big planet 2 with my friends and it worked in the beggining but now they say when i talk its really quiet and they cant hear me. I tried changing the settings and volume but nothing works. It also doesnt work on other games like Black Ops. I had the Bluetooth one but i sold it because that one didnt work and i thought that the wired one would work but it does the same thing. Are rocketfish headsets bad or is my ps3 broken. Also if u could recommend other headsets that would help out alot

My question is, can you hear them and they can’t hear you?

If so, make sure that the mute button on your Rocketfish headset isn’t pressed. You know, that square (or rectangle?) silver button on the little box thing that makes a soft popping sound every time you press it?

I have it and that’s the big issue I have with it. When I press on it to mute, it tends to get stuck that way and what I do is keep pressing it slightly until it pops right back up again.

If not, make sure that the USB plug is inserted the right way.

Mine’s still working well after 1 1/2 years so I am not aware of any other problems with it other than the one above.

To check whether it’s you PS3 that have issues, try plugging in any other USB headsets you have and see if they work. Based on my experience, all of our USB headsets at home are compatible with the PS3 so there’s a good chance any USB headsets used in your house will also be compatible.
