Hey Gaming Pros Here?

What is a good battery life for a gaming laptop? Is a 9 cell, 6000mAh lithium ion battery pretty good/ reasonable/ ok? Rate on scale from 1 to 10- 1 is minimum and 10 is optimal. Rate the laptop’s price too. Better suggestions encouraged.

If you plan on doing some serious gaming on a laptop i would expect a battery life of under 1.5 hours, battery life should not be an issue. You will drain it in no time, I would rather put the money to use on better components

For that amount of money you can get a gaming laptop by clevo. They make very high quality notebooks which usually incorporate the latest technology. They’re laptops are re-branded and sold (at a much higher price) by alienware, voodoo pc, falcon northwest, the list goes on and on, that should tell that they are a top notch laptop manufacturer. Anyway for that amount of money you can get a clevo laptop with better specs.

The clevo notebooks from these sites contain the latest mobile gpu from nvidia 8700GT 512MB, which is much better performer than the ati model from toshiba. You also have the option for a faster hardrive 7200 vs 5400 RPM.

In the end if you decide to go with toshiba, it’s not a bad decision they still make great quality notebooks but again I would personally opt for a clevo just because I can probably get better components.
