It’s seems like a good setup. It may be worth close to the amount you listed if it comes with an OS like XP or Vista. Beware that if you go with Vista, you’re going to want a lot more than 512MB. 1GB should be the minimum, but I’ve heard 2GB can make a big difference too.

The reason why cost is hard to evaluate, is because it depends where you’re located. Obviously, a lot of technology is more expensive in places like the U.K. or Australia.
